The Victorian Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli, purchased Hughendon as his country home in the Chiltern Valley in the 1800s, more for the landscape then for the manor itself. These are some of the rooms that have been furnished as they would have appeared at the time. Much of the furniture is original but some has been purchased to complete the setting.
